YEOVIL Town have failed in their bid to obtain extra FA Cup tickets for this weekend's fourth round tie at St Mary's.

The Championship strugglers sold their entire 3,100 allocation for the match  within four hours of going on general sale last Friday.

As a result, they had been hoping to receive a further batch of tickets, but have today been told no more are available.

Ospers this is Southampton we are talking about…since when have the fans EVER counted…

..had we made it a tenner for Burnley we would have sold out but that might set a nice precedent …remember MUFC 3 years ago 57000 applications for tickets but our fan (un)friendly approach meant a 28.000 crowd instead of a full house.

Yeovil deserve their day in the sun and our cash poor fans deserve too see us too…ah to dream.

Building a fan base capable of filling week in week out an extended stadium should be an overriding issue …alas no.
