THE Championship team of the season was announced at Sunday night's EFL awards and there was a notable Saints absentee from the line-up.
Forward Adam Armstrong has scored 20 goals and produced 12 assists in the league but that was not enough to see him selected.
Plymouth Argyle's Morgan Whittaker and Leeds United's Georginio Rutter were both preferred to the Geordie forward.
There was one Saints man who has been recognised, though, as right-back Kyle Walker-Peters unsurprisingly made the team.
Here is what supporters have been saying on social media...
@JoeNeale_ took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to say: "No Armstrong is actually criminal."
Martin Sanders wrote: "How does Adam Armstrong miss out on this?"
@sfcmarsh agreed by saying: "Rutter and Whittaker over Adam Armstrong is an absolute joke btw."
We need an eye test because we canβt see Armstrong

On Facebook, Barry Moorman said: "How can they snub Adam Armstrong? Second highest scorer and goals made as well."
Jamie Stone replied: "Especially putting seven-goal Rutter in there instead. That team of the season is something you would expect on a Leeds fan site, not on the official EFL site."
