WINGER Fedel Ross-Lang has landed a club in Lithuania following his departure from Saints academy last summer.

The 20 year old has been a free agent since July when his deal at St Mary's expired, three years after joining from Man City.

Ross-Lang was an important part of Southampton's Under-18 Premier League South winning group during the 2021-22 campaign.

However, he only made a handful of substitute appearances for the under-21s side in Premier league 2 last season.

Ross-Lang will now link up with Lithuanian second-division side FK Tauras, based in Taurage.

Tauras competed in Europa League qualifiers in 2010 and 2011 but were knocked out by APOEL and ADO Den Haag.

It was reported that Ross-Lang trialled with League One outfit Bristol Rovers earlier this season in search of a new club.

Speaking ahead of the Under-18 Premier League final against Man City in 2022, former head coach Mikey Harris hailed Ross-Lang's impact.

He told the Daily Echo: "He's been a huge part of our success this season, scoring and assisting some really important goals at some important times.

"He'll be sorely missed through injury and particularly as we signed Fedel from Man City, so it’s a real shame he won't be involved."
