Saints winger Sadio Mane has described it as a dream to work under Ronald Koeman.

The £10m Senegalese ace, who is currently on duty with his country, says he is enjoying life under his new club boss.

“Koeman is known around the world,” said Mane, who should start in tonight’s African Cup of Nations qualifier against Tunisia (9pm).

“I have seen what he achieved as a footballer. Working under him is a great opportunity for a young person like me.”

Mane, 22, who signed for Saints in a deadline-day deal from Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg, scored in both of Senegal’s opening Group G matches, as they secured victories against Egypt and Botswana.

Tonight, they will host Tunisia, who also have two wins from two, before visiting the same opponents next Wednesday.

Both countries are expected to qualify from the four-team group for the 2015 finals, which will be held in Morocco.

Mane is one of three Saints players preparing for action this evening.

Graziano Pelle could make a long-awaited senior international debut for Italy, as they host Azerbaijan in a Euro 2016 qualifier (7.45pm).

The Saints striker has never played above under-21 level for his country, but coach Antonio Conte is keen to get a look at the 29-year-old.

Italy began their campaign with a 2-0 win in Norway, and are expected to strengthen their position in Group H when they take to the pitch in Palermo later.

The Azzurri will then travel to face Malta on Monday.

On-loan Atletico Madrid defender and Belgium international Toby Alderweireld picked up a minor thigh injury in training earlier this week, in a challenge with Moussa Dembele, but is expected to be fit for the visit of Andorra (7.45pm).

That fixture will be Belgium’s first in their Euro 2016 qualifying campaign, with a trip to fellow Group B rivals Bosnia and Herzegovina following on Monday.
