So Lovren who likes singing You,ll never walk alone has finally got his wish. I've never known a summer like this with our best players all wanting to leave and still believe the hand of Cortese or MP could be unsettling the players. I agree with RK that we only want players who want to play for us but we do need to get some quality reinforcements in soon or we will have a team of complete strangers for the first match against Liverpool which I would dearly love to win. So come on Saints. We have the money so cheer us up with some good news for a change.
Who cares about the money in Ms Liebherrs back pocket , all our best players are being sold . Players of Lovren's quality are impossible to replace .
Katarina is laughing all the way to the bank singing lovely jubbly & Marcus must be turning in his grave, I & others posted some time ago comments a bout Asset Stripping , & hey ho here we are left with a team that could only score 1 goal against Bournemouth, well that just about sums it all up, wait until SFC start playing the big boys, what will you lot be posting ‘’then’’ you just can not or don’t want to see the writing on the wall, this club will be sold believe me they may have lots of dosh in the bank but oh no this will not be spent improving the squad it will stay within Katarina’s coffers, come on you brainy posters you must see what is going on here"

Liverpool have agreed a fee believed to be in the region of £20m for Saints defender Dejan Lovren.

The Croatian centre half has long been angling for a move to Anfield, after the Premier League runner-ups' interest in him was revealed.

At one point, he even threatened to not return to Staplewood following the World Cup in a bid to force through the move to Liverpool.

Manger Ronald Koeman said last week that he was prepared to let Lovren go if the Reds met Saints' asking price, as he did not want players at Southampton who did not want to be there.

He will be the third Southampton player to swap the South Coast for the North West this summer, following in the footsteps of Rickie Lambert and Adam Lallana.

In total, Liverpool have paid Saints around £49m for the three players, which is half of the total outlay Brendan Rodgers has put on seven new signings.

Lovren joined Saints from French side Lyon for a fee of £8.5m last summer.

It is understood he will undergo a medical tomorrow before finalising the move.
