TWO MEN have been jailed for their role in a gang supplying cocaine, MDMA and cannabis throughout Hampshire.

Kane Lendon, 28, and Scott Dunn, 29 were sentenced after admitting conspiracy to supply the drugs.

They were arrested as part of Operation Blue, during which police seized a kilogram of cocaine worth £336,000, three kilograms of MDMA worth £215,000 and five kilograms of cannabis with a potential street value of £47,000.

Lendon, who lived in Squirrel Close, Eastleigh, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply cocaine, MDMA, cannabis, and money laundering, and was sentenced to nine years and one month in prison.

His associate Dunn, from Blackthorn Road, Southampton, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply cocaine, cannabis, and money laundering and was sentenced to four years and eight months in prison.

Both were given credit for entering early guilty pleas last year.

In March 2014, officers stopped a black VW Golf travelling southbound on the A34 close to Sutton Scotney services at 9pm.

A search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of a quantity of cocaine and cash and resulted in the arrest of the driver, Dunn.

Over the following 24 hours officers went on to execute warrants at premises linked to Lendon and a search at a lock up rented by Lendon in Allington Lane in West End, led to the recovery of significant quantities of cocaine, MDMA, and cannabis, resulting in the arrest of Lendon.
