A CARELESS driver who caused series injury to a man has been handed a suspended sentence.
On August 24 last year, Sharon Read injured a man while driving without due care and attention in Franklin Avenue, Tadley.
Read was also over the alcohol limit, she had 107 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood – the limit is 80.

The 59-year-old pleaded guilty to causing serious injury by careless / inconsiderate driving and drink driving during a hearing at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, March 13.
Read, from Reading, was handed a 12-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months and disqualified from driving for two years.
She must also abstain from alcohol for 90 days and complete up to 10 rehabilitation days.
Court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £114 must be paid.
