A HAMPSHIRE drug driver, caught in Basingstoke, who was more than double the limit has been banned for a year.
On Wednesday, October 4, Ferenc Romsics, of Portsmouth, drove a vehicle on Kempshott Lane with 4.8ug/L of Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol in his blood - the legal limit is two.
During a hearing held at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, March 5, the 39-year-old pleaded guilty to the offence.

Magistrates banned him from driving for 12 months and ordered a fine of £450 to be paid.
Court costs of £85 and a surcharge fee of £180 must also be paid.
