A SECONDARY school in Basingstoke has held its first careers fair, for students to muse the potential career paths ahead of them.

Aldworth School held a careers fair at the school on Monday, March 11 for students from Year 8 to Year 11 to engage with a variety of different businesses and industries, and hear about the careers and options available to them.

The Basingstoke Gazette was one of those companies which took part in the careers fair, and was in attendance with many other recognised and smaller, independent businesses.

These included Hampshire Constabulary, NHS, Lenovo, University of Winchester, BCoT, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue service, amongst many other employers advertising and encouraging participation in various careers and industries.
