A BASINGSTOKE-based information security consultancy has announced it has been awarded a prestigious status for its 'ethical hacking' services.

RightCue Assurance, based in Basing View, underwent rigorous testing by CREST, an international not-for-profit membership body representing the global cybersecurity industry.

The focus of the evaluation was penetration testing, or ethical hacking, which is an authorised simulated cyber-attack that tests a company’s defences.
