WITH Halloween approaching many people have started putting up decorations, but none compare to Dave Eckton and Ria Stacey's home in Tadley.

The house in Burnley Close, which is 17 on the Tadley Halloween Trail, is decked out with animatronics, cobwebs, spiders, pumpkins, skeletons, and haunted dolls making it look like something out of The Conjuring.

Visitors can fully immerse themselves in the horror, by entering the outhouse filled with spooky decorations and a few jumpscares.

Dave, 46 and Ria, 36, have gone all out, with residents in ‘awe’ of the decorations.

Ria said: “We love Halloween and get so involved as one of our daughters is a Halloween baby and is obsessed with this time of the year”

Dave added: “I was never allowed to do Halloween as a child, and I love scaring all the visitors that come to see our display.

“Also, it’s for charity so why not! It wouldn’t happen if it wasn’t for the effort of Bobie Jones who started the Halloween trail in Tadley during lockdown so children could still get involved for Halloween”

The Tadley Halloween Trail was set up by mother Bobie, 30, in 2020, to ensure that Halloween would go forward for children in the area, as the outside trail wouldn’t be affected by Covid restrictions.

All funds raised from the trail, will go to children's mental health charity, Young Minds.

The trail will run until Wednesday, November 1. Maps for the trail can be purchased for £2 from the Gourmet Queens Café in Baughurst on 25 Heath End Road or digital copies are available by emailing bobie@thriveology.co.uk.
