BASINGSTOKE Gymnastics Club members representing the GBR Southern Region Aerobics squad had a weekend to remember at the prestigious Plovdiv Cup, where their exceptional performances garnered a collection of medals and personal best scores.

In the fiercely competitive junior category for ages 15-17, Starr showcased her skills and determination to secure a commendable sixth position.

She wasn't alone in her success, as alongside two teammates from Sparkles Gymnastics, they dazzled the crowd with their spooky routine, earning them a well-deserved fifth-place finish.

Felix, another bright talent in the Junior category, left a mark with a brilliant performance that earned him a coveted bronze medal.

Additionally, his pair routine with Amelia achieved a remarkable third place, accompanied by a personal best score.

Their duo routine had also secured third place in the World Age Group Championships in June 2022.

The Junior Aerodance category, featuring the gymnastic talents of Starr, Lily, Amelia, and their Sparkles teammates, proved to be another area of triumph.

This dynamic group claimed a splendid silver medal, demonstrating their synchrony and skill on the floor.

The Senior Group, led by the experienced Rosie, showcased their prowess and dedication.

Rosie and her teammates from Sparkles displayed a captivating routine that not only secured them a silver medal but also yielded personal best scores.

Senior gymnast Rosie bid farewell to her career with a memorable individual performance that delighted the spectators.

She also participated in a trio with gymnasts from Sparkles, earning them an impressive fourth place finish.
