Drivers on a major Hampshire road are experiencing delays due to lane closures.

Those driving along the A34 between Tufton and Burghclere will be experiencing high volumes of traffic, with lanes closed along the A34 near Whitchurch, and congestion through Whitchurch as well.

A lane is closed in both directions as central barrier repairs are being undertaken, with five miles of queues in both directions. There are delays of up to 30 minutes both north and southbound.

Romanse has also reported on Twitter that there is a 30-minute delay Northbound on Winchester Street in Whitchurch, between A34 and B3400.
