THE latest food hygiene ratings have been released for restaurants and takeaways across Basingstoke and Deane – and its good news for all of them.

Conducted by the Food Standards Agency (FSA), the ratings range from zero (urgent improvement is required) to five (hygiene standards are very good).

However, it is important to remember that the food hygiene ratings reflect the standards of food hygiene, not food quality.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to 10 of Basingstoke and Deane’s establishments, the FSA’s website shows.
