EQUESTRIAN property hunters need to saddle up and jump quickly to bag a top north Hampshire home.
The shortage of homes on every rung of the property ladder is still frustrating would-be buyers - and even in a market with plenty of supply, equestrian properties tend to be few and far between.
Dreweatt Neate is expecting to find buyers galloping out to the village of Baughurst to see West View Farm, which has come to the early autumn market with a price guide of £1.75million.
Over the past 10 years, the current owners have extended and remodelled the farmhouse, which now boasts five bedrooms.
West View Farm dates from the 1920s and has a farmhouse kitchen and family room fitted with bespoke oak units and a four-oven Aga.
As well as two formal reception rooms on the ground floor, there is also a wood-panelled study.
Two of the bedrooms have en suite bathrooms.
The farmhouse has an elevated setting in 14 acres of grounds on the edge of Baughurst.
Close to the farmhouse is a brick-built stable block, plus a range of modern barns, five paddocks and a menagerie with wiring for floodlights.
A private drive, with electronically-operated gates, leads up to West View Farm and gives the property a secluded setting in the Hampshire countryside.
Simon Randall, head of Dreweatt Neate in Basingstoke, said: "The owners have created an excellent equestrian property."
