BASINGSTOKE Town will travel to Dorchester Town in the second round of the FA Trophy on Saturday November 12, after the draw was made at lunch time.

The Magpies are 17th in the Southern Premier League six places below the Dragons and the sides have yet to meet this season in the league.

Basingstoke won their first round tie 4-1 at Staines, while Dorchester were 3-1 victors over Barnstaple.

Dragons' boss Terry Brown said: "Obviously we would have liked a home tie, but they have a lovely pitch and play in our league so it should be a good game."

This means the scheduled league game for November 12 at home to Kings Lynn, will now be a midweek game.
