BASINGSTOKE Town are now drinking at the last chance salon, as they try to avoid relegation from the National League South.

The Dragons know a home defeat on Saturday (3pm) against visiting Weston-super-Mare and wins for Bath, Hayes and a draw for Havant will see their fate sealed for the season.

However, Town boss Terry Brown is not about to throw in the towel and is hoping a bumper crowd will turn up at the Camrose for what is a must win game.

The match is also a chance for quick revenge for the Dragons as they lost to relegation rivals Weston on Tuesday night in Somerset.

This result leaves Town 11 points from safety with five games remaining, while the victory for Weston moved them out of the bottom three.

Looking ahead to his biggest game since taking charge Brown said: "Weston's home form is excellent, but I fancy our chances at the Camrose.

"They are a team who play using a lot of possession and I will be looking to find a system which will stop that. The boys deserved at least a point at Weston, so I hope we get all three on Saturday."

The manager has no new injury worries ahead of the game and is hopeful club captain David Ray could be back from injury.
