BASINGSTOKE Town Academy put in a good performance against league leaders Southampton (Bath) last Wednesday, but they were unable to take anything from the game.
The hosts won 1-0 to open up an 11-point gap at the top of the table, but Town manager Jason Bristow was pleased with his side’s performance and felt they were unfortunate not to take anything from the game.
Town travel to Southampton (Sparsholt) on Monday.
