BASINGSTOKE Town's home game against Bromley, which was due to take place tomorrow night, has been rearranged for later this month.
The game, between Vanarama Conference South's second and third-placed sides, is eagerly anticipated. With both sides free to play on January 24, the game has been rearranged for a Saturday, a change that recieved league approval this morning.
It will be hoped that more people will be able to attend the match at The Soccer AM Stadium as a result, for what promises to be one of the defining games of the season.
As things stand, Basingstoke are two points behind Bromley, with both having enough games in hand on leaders Boreham Wood to move to the top of the table.
Basingstoke are without a game on January 24 as Bath City, who were due to visit The Soccer AM Stadium that day, reached the third round of the FA Trophy with a 3-1 win at Wealdstone on Saturday.
Bromley were knocked out of the competition at the weekend, losing 4-0 away at Torquay United, while Ebbsfleet United, who they were supposed to be playing on January 24, reached the third round with a 1-0 win over Forest Green Rovers.
