LONDON Irish remain bottom of the Premiership after a 38-7 defeat at the Stoop against Harlequins.

New England boss Eddie Jones was amongst the crowd as the Exiles suffered their sixth straight league defeat.

Tim Visser scored a hat-trick of scores for the home side, while Danny Care and Jack Clifford also went over. Quins fly half Nick Evans kicked 11 points.

Halani Aulika scored a late consolation try for Irish, who take a break this week from league action and face a visit from Edinburgh in the European Challenge Cup on Saturday at the Madejski Stadium.
