CHARTER Alley’s Emma Croker was part of the England team which lost 13-0 to Wales at Swansea.
The Richmond hooker was unable to prevent the current World Champions losing in their opening game of the women’s Six Nations.
Two second-half tries from Catrin Edwards and Laurie Harries helped the home side to victory.
England will now hope to bounce back to winning ways when they host Italy at Twickenham Stoop on Sunday (kick-off 2pm).
In the men’s Six Nations Kingsclere’s Tom Croft was named on the bench, but never made it onto the field as England beat Wales 21-16.
The 29-year-old will hope to get involved this weekend, when England travel to Italy for their second game on Saturday (kick-off 2.30pm).
