SPORTS clubs, coaches, volunteers and schools in South Bucks are being urged to nominate candidates for the Bucks and MK Sports Awards.
The awards acknowledge the work of individuals and organisations that have made a considerable sporting contribution in the area.
There are eight categories for this award, meaning anyone who has made a difference can be nominated.
Anita Cranmer, South Bucks District Councillor, said: “A large number of people quietly contribute to the overall health and wellbeing of our community through sporting endeavours.
“These awards are an excellent way for their efforts to be recognised and celebrated.”
The nominees will attend the award ceremony on Friday, December 6 at the Aylesbury Waterside Theatre and will be joined by international athletes, local dignitaries and business leaders.
The closing date for submitting nominations is Monday, September 16.
