Ryan Day produced a clinical performance to beat Cao Yupeng 4-0 in the ManBetX Gibraltar Open final and win his second ranking tournament.

Day beat Fang Xiongman and Joe Perry, both 4-1, before edging past Scott Donaldson 4-3 to reach the final, while Cao claimed the scalp of former world champion Stuart Bingham and ended the career-best run of Lee Walker at the semi-final stage.

There was no let-up from Day as breaks of 58, 72 and 100 put him in command in the best-of-seven final.

He duly wrapped up the next frame as well to add to last June’s Riga Masters in what is proving the best season of his near 20-year career.
