FATHER and son Rob and Ricky Collard had very contrasting fortunes at Oulton Park in Cheshire.
Hook's Rob Collard failed to finish in the top 10 in any of his British Touring Car Championship races, but he was not helped by being hit by his own West Surrey Racing team mateAndy Priaulx in race two.
He had been in fourth place at the time with a half a lap to go, when a big hit at the back of his car broke the suspension of his BMW and forced him out.
In his opening outing he finished 13th and then in race three came was 27th on the grid to 14th by the finish.
Meanwhile, his son Ricky Collard increased his lead in the MSA Formula Championship, one of the support races of the BTCC.
He enjoyed his second win of the season and also collected another podium finish, with a second in his final race of the weekend.
