JUSTIN Rose had a great second day at The Open, as he shot a four under par at St Andrew's.

Play was delay due to heavy over night rain on Friday, which saw the course flooded.

Once in action, Rose got off to a good start with birdies at holes three, four and five.

He dropped shots at 11 and 12, before again enjoying a run of three birdles at holes 13, 14 and 15 to finish on 68.

This left him on -5, four shots behind the leader Danny Willett and Dustin Johnson, who was still waiting to complete his second round, after high winds delayed play again today.

At the moment it is hoped that play will start again at 3pm.
