ADVENTURE AS found the carp in feeding mode at Bowsaw Lake Last Sunday, but as always at this time of year there are areas of the lake that didn’t produce fish.

Spare a thought for the angers that do proper fishing on our canals and rivers, with just six weeks to go before the end of the river season. The rivers that have been unfishable, due to heavy rain will continue to be so, if the ling range weather forecast is to be believed.

'Er Indoors has booked a holiday in Ibiza for this coming June and it looks like I will be in Canary Islands before the winter is out, I no longer get asked if the dates clash with matches I want to fish, I just get told I'm going.
