THE three front runners in Division One of the Whitchurch League are keeping up the pace each continually winning.

Basingstoke Town’s Spades beat Andover B 61-54 and have 43 points.

Howard Park have gone second, following their win against Alton 62-48 and have 38.5 points. Oakley Buzzards are in third spot after beaten Old Basing Cavaliers 51-43 and also on 38.5 points.

The only other match saw Littleton Leopards beat Hyde Abbey A 59-38.

Andover lost at home to Town’s Diamonds 54-48 in Division Two. Hook Hares helped their survival hopes as they beat fellow strugglers Hyde Abbey B 58-47 and St Mary Bourne Hawks beat Littleton Lemurs 68-34.

St Mary Bourne Eagles still lead Division Three after beating Kingsclere Partridges 51-44. Old Basing Roundheads remain second after a 45-38 success over Whitchurch Blues 45-38 and have a game in hand. Third are Oakley Kingfishers after a 61-47 victory over Howard Park C. Town’s Jokers moved off the bottom with a win against Andover C 66-32,.

Division Four leaders Oakley Woodpeckers won 52-42 over Howard Park B and Thornycroft stay second after they beat St Mary Bourne Merlins 49-45. Marnell Greens overcame Friary by 68-29 and stay fourth behind Howard Park. Oakley Kites beat Old Basing Royalists 61-36 and Kingsclere Pheasants won 51-50 over Littleton Lions.

The BDBA Division One is still led by Oakley following their win at Andover 74-57. Alton Social, with their crop of new bowlers are on the same points, after they just beat Old Basing 58-54 and have a game in hand. Third placed Kingsclere lost at Whitchurch 52-49 and Town beat Howard Park 59-50.

Unbeaten Division Two leaders Alton won against Hook 76-41. Second placed St Mary Bourne just beat Oakley B 57-54, with Town B enjoying a 64-40 success over Thornycroft.
