Basingstoke chess prodigy picked for England
BASINGSTOKE Chess Club youngster Alex Vanlint has been in international action, representing England in a competition held in Poland.
Up against strong opposition in Chrzanow, 14-year-old Vanlint picked up 4.5 points out of seven and won a board prize
