TADLEY Hockey Club’s men’s team enjoyed an excellent 5-3 victory away at Trojans VI.
The visitors led by four goals at the end of the first half, with Dom Tallent taking a starring role, finding the net twice.
Tadley added another goal after the break to make sure of the win and the team’s other scorers were Mark Foster, John Malone and Andy Chapman.
The victory leaves Tadley fourth in Hampshire League Division Eight with 19 points.
They are two points behind third-placed Haslemere IV, although they have played one more game.
Tadley’s next match is against Yateley fourths on Saturday.
The club play their home games on the Astroturf pitch at Bradfield College, but their spiritual home is the Rec Soc bar in AWE, where they take in post-match refreshments.
Any new players wishing to join the club should contact club captain Paul Bourne by email at paul_bourne@hotmail.co.uk.
