BASINGSTOKE Gymnastic Club turned on the style at their annual Christmas show at their home, the Active Life Centre.

It was the eighth time the club had held the show since moving to their purpose-built building and, in total, 1,000 people watched the five shows, which were held over three days.

The two-hour performance featured a wide range of gymnastic, dance and aerial displays from members of the gym.

This included international gymnasts through to performances from pre-school and disability groups.

The first half saw routines from high performance gymnasts, followed by themed and fun performances from a mixture of groups after the interval.

In total, 250 gymnasts took part in a brilliant show, aged from three-year-olds right up to adults.

Amy Woods was the leading choreographer of the show and the club have received a lot of excellent feedback about how much the show was enjoyed.

They are already planning for the next show.
