Chess players find the going tough
BASINGSTOKE Chess Club are still finding the going tough in Berkshire League Division One.
The latest match saw Paul Hackman pull off another excellent result on the top board with a win over 190 graded player Roger Abayase-kera at Camberley A.
This follows on from his draw the previous week against chess master Bogdan Lalic (232 grade) at Sandhurst.
On board three, Bernard Cooke secured a draw, but three wins on the lower boards gave Camberley A a 4.5-1.5 win.
