ODIHAM hockey star Alex Danson watched her England team mates draw 1-1 with Germany in their latest Champions Trophy group game.
The 29-year-old forward was injured in the first game, which England lost 2-1 to Australia.
In the game against Germany, England trailed to Kristina Hillmann’s close range in the first-half strike.
Forward Ellie Watton hauled England level with her second goal of the tournament.
In a frantic final quarter both sides had chances to win it, with England having a gilt-edged opportunity from the spot.
However, Georgie Twigg’s penalty stroke was kept out by Kristina Reyonolds as honours finished even.
England’s last group game is against Argentina tomorrow, live on Sky Sports from 6.30pm.
