LAST Friday night saw a surprise testimonial match and celebration for Tadley Calleva Youth under-16 manager and the club's vice-chairman Geoff Coffin and his team.
This was the final game for a side, which Coffin has been in charge of for 11 seasons and it was a fitting tribute to the boss.
The Tadley team lined up outside the ground to form a guard of honour for the manager on his arrival and he then led the team's onto the pitch.
A presentation was then made on the pitch to the manager and his assistant coach John Timney.
Coffin's sons and grandson presented him with a signed framed shirt with all the teams signatures.
Tadley then played a testimonial game against Woking FC's Academy side.
The event was organised without the manager's knowledge and he said: "I was a nice shock and it was a great evening and everyone enjoyed it which was great. I must thank Woking for sending their Academy side."
Coffin will now return to his roots and start training the youngest players at the club the under fives and sixes.
