HARTLEY Wintney go in search of a super sixth victory in the FA Vase on Saturday to keep alive their dreams of playing in a cup final at Wembley Stadium.

Saturday’s fourth round tie against visiting Bradford Town is the furthest the club has ever gone in this competition, but they do not want it to stop there.

Hartley are determined to make history once again and move into the last 16 of FA Vase and continue their magnificent season.

Their FA Vase quest started way back on the first weekend of September in a second qualifying round tie against Longlevens.

After this the village side beat Milton United 4-1 and then won their next three games by just impressive scoreline of 3-1 against Wokingham and Emmbrook, Windsor and Colliers Wood United.

Striker Sam Argent is their leading goal scorer in the competition with six goals including a hat-trick against Milton.

The Combined Counties league leaders now face Western League Premier Side Bradford Town, who are eighth in their table.

Joint manager Daniel Brownlie said: “Saturday is a great opportunity. We feel we have a good chance of progressing, but this competition does not allow for complacency. We are determined to deliver and boys will do their upmost to put us in the draw on Monday.”
