HARTLEY Wintney fell behind twice, but were able to recover and beat visiting Longlevens to progress in the FA Vase on Saturday.
A defensive mistake allowed the Hellenic League visitors to take an early lead and while Zac Horkan levelled the game, another slip at the back allowed Longlevens to take a half-time lead.
It took Hartley a while to pull level, but they managed to get on terms when Ross Cook scored from the penalty spot.
The same player then secured Hartley's place in the second qualifying round, heading home Steven Duff's cross to earn his side a 3-2 victory, setting up a home tie against Milton United.
Hartley are in FA Cup action on Saturday, hosting local rivals Fleet Town of the Southern League in the first qualifying round of the competition.
