WHITCHURCH United came from a goal behind to beat local rivals Andover Town in the Wessex League Premier Division yesterday.
Visiting Andover were ahead at the break, but second-half strikes from Danny Phillips and Matt Austin earned the Jam Boys all three points and local bragging rights.
On Saturday, a Scott Hassell goal gave Whitchurch a 1-1 draw with visiting Totton and Eling.
’Church sit fifth in the table, a position they will be looking to defend on Saturday, when they travel to sixth-placed Blackfield and Langley.
