WHITCHURCH United remained top of the Wessex League Premier Division, after a 5-3 win over visiting Christchurch.
The home side cruised into a 3-0 lead, before their Dorset visitors pulled a goal back before the break.
The Jam Boys added a fourth, soon after the interval, but Christchurch then made a game of it scoring twice.
It was left a free-kick from Josh Harfield to make sure of the three points, after Jack Garner, Danny Phillips, Lerone Plummer and Ben Thomson had all scored.
This weekend, Whitchurch entertain Brockenhurst and are looking to complete a quick double over the visitors, who they beat 1-0 on the first Saturday of this month.
