READING will be in the hat for the FA Cup fourth round draw on Monday evening, after they drew 2-2 away at Championship rivals Huddersfield on Saturday.

The Royals looked set for victory as they led 2-1, but Nahki Wells' last-minute penalty for the home side means the teams will now face a replay.

This will be at the Madejski Stadium, with the provisional date being Tuesday January 19.

The first 45 minutes saw no goals in Yorkshire, and then Huddersfield took the lead after 57 minutes as Jamie Paterson headed home.

Reading equalised thanks to a great strike from Matej Vydra and then Hal Robson-Kanu gave the Royals a 2-1 lead with three minutes left, as he converted Lucas Piazon’s pass.

However, when Harry Bunn was tripped in the box in the final minute, Huddersfield were awarded a penalty and Wells made no mistake with the spot kick.

Before Reading can focus on their replay, they are back in Championship action on Tuesday night when they are away to second placed Derby County.
