READING will kick off their 2015-16 Championship campaign with a trip to Birmingham City.

The Premier League and Football League fixtures were released this morning, with Reading being handed away games on both the opening and final days of the season.

After travelling to St Andrew’s on August 8, Reading play their first home game of the season the following weekend, welcoming Leeds United to the Madejski Stadium.

Over Christmas, they travel to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Boxing Day, before hosting Brentford two days later. Their new year fixture will be played on January 2, when Bristol City will make the trip up the M4 to Reading.

The Royals’ final home game is on April 30, when Preston North End will be the visitors, while they end the campaign with a trip to Blackburn Rovers on May 7.
