WELLY Old Boys’ difficult season continued on Saturday, Graham Jenkins’ team going down 6-0 to visiting Bramley United in the Basingstoke and District Saturday League Premier Division.

Stuart Leddy opened the scoring early on from Josh Harper’s pass, but it was Adam Bartlett who stole the show, bagging the next four goals. Tim Barnett completed the scoring, volleying home Harper’s cross.

Hook Reserves cruised to an 11-3 victory over hosts North Warnborough in a Division One local derby, with Charlie Page finding the net four times. David Mohammed put Hook ahead after just two minutes, but Warnborough levelled soon after, Jason Williams finding the net from the penalty spot.

Stacey Harris restored the Hook lead, only for Bradley Yates to level the game at 2-2, but Los Wright’s strike and an own-goal had the visitors 4-2 ahead at half-time.

Page’s haul saw Hook take the game away from their hosts after the break, with James Foot and Wright’s second of the game moving the score on to 10-2. Richard Matt pulled a goal back for Warnborough, but Hook had the last word, Dave White finding the net in added time.

DJS Telecoms were unable to raise a team for their game against Hampshire Irons, who are likely to be awarded the points.
