SHERBORNE St John won 6-4 at Bramley United in the Basingstoke and District League Premier Division Sam Cato lobbed the goalkeeper for Bramley’s opener after 10 minutes, but Sherborne hit back to lead 3-1, with goals from Sachin Rai, Ibrahim Waheed and a Declan Shuttleworth penalty.
Stuart Leddy replied for Bramley, but Alex Izzo converted a penalty as Sherborne led 4-2 at the interval.
Two quick goals from Shuttleworth completed his hat-trick to make it 6-2.
Bramley’s Cato reduced the lead with a brace to complete his hat-trick and take his tally to 17 for the season.
