TWO sides defending 100 per cent records met in Basingstoke and District Sunday League Division Three.

It was the end of the line for Team FC's perfect record though, Eastrop Eagles emerging 7-2 winners. Bobby Frost hit a hat-trick, while Keith Davies, Nathan Bennett, Kirk Smith and Stuart Murfitt also scored for the Eagles.

Soldiers Return Reserves came from behind to beat Chineham Reserves 7-4. Jay Wild equalised Chineham's early goal, with further goals from Joshua Rockingham, Wild, Craig Willshire and Powell Durbot brace putting Soldiers 6-1 ahead at the break.

Durbot went on to complete his hat-trick, before Chineham Reserves rallied with three late goals. Joe Marsh and Jimmie Buckland both ended the game with two goals for the visitors.

Basing United eased into second place in the table with a 3-1 win away at Chineham Athletic. Matthew Nessing, Samson Graham and Leslie Pool scored for Basing, with Ben Owen netting Athletic's reply.

AFC Golden Lion beat DG Athletic 4-3 to claim their first points of the campaign. Matthew Lowe, Matthew Spargo, James Dewdney and Luke Upton scored for the Lions. DG Athletic replied through Liam Rump, Alan Tippin, and an own-goal.
