READING took their tally to 15 goals in their last four games after a 3-0 win at Millwall in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.

Pavel Pogrebnyak put the Royals on the way to victory on 39 minutes, after home goalie Stephen Bywater had fumbled Chris Gunter's cross.

Millwall’s Liam Feeney missed a one-on-one chance after the break, before Alex Pearce thumped in the visitors second from a tight angle on the 72 minute mark.

Reading added a third soon after, as Daniel Williams scored from close range.

Royals boss Nigel Adkins said: “We have been able to select the same team for the fifth game running which helps and it was a great workmanlike performance.”

Reading will continue their promotion push, when lowly Sheffield Wednesday are the visitors to the Madejski Stadium on Saturday (kick-off 3pm).
