READING lost at home for the first time in 10 games, as they were beaten 2-1 by Bournemouth in the Championship on Saturday.
The visitors won the game with two goals in the first-half, as Lewis Grabban netted the first, after Royals goalkeeper Alex McCarthy kept out Tommy Elphick’s powerful header.
Matt Richie scored the second, with a low drive after 41 minutes.
Adam Le Fondre tapped in from close range, in stoppage time for a late consolation goal
Reading manager Nigel Adkins said: “The goals changed the game after we dominated for the first 30 minutes.”
Next up for the Royals is a trip to Huddersfield, which is next Saturday.
