OLD BASING are set to face a strong Lashings side when they travel to village's Recreation Ground for the special bicentenary game on Friday August 28 after they announced their team this week.
Their side will once again be skipped by Phil DeFreitas, who was in charge of the team when they were last in Old Basing in 2013.
Another bumper crowd is expected for the 25-over a-side game and DeFreitas is one of six former England Test players in the squad along with Adam Hollioake, Martin Bicknell, Mark Ealham, John Emburey and Devon Malcolm.
The rest of the Lashings team is made up of New Zealanders Tim Mcintosh and Ron Nicol, as well as West Indian pair Tino Best and Kirk Edwards.
Pakistan is represented by Saqlain Mushtaq and Indian opening batsman Wasim Jaffer completes the 12 who are coached by former Hampshire legend Gordon Greenridge
The Champion Group are the primary match day sponsors and ground admission is free with the gates opening at midday.
A colts game set to take place before the t25 match at 3pm, but there will be a lot more going on for all the family.
