Hampshire batsman Michael Carberry is available for tomorrow’s Royal London One-Day Cup win against Gloucestershire at Bristol.
Carberry missed Sunday's win against Lancashire at Old Trafford with a hand injury sustained during the 136-run defeat at Derbyshire 24 hours earlier.
But he is in contention for a recall as Hampshire look to register back-to-back wins ahead of their opening home game in the competition against Leicestershire next week.
Carberry, who top scored with 55 after Hampshire conceded a record 340-6 at Derby, was replaced by James Tomlinson at Old Trafford, where the left-armer played his first limited-overs game of the season.
Hampshire bounced back from the Derby debacle by amassing their own record 50-over score – 360-9 – against Lancashire.
Glenn Maxwell’s 96-ball 146, his maiden Hampshire century, laid the foundation of that total and he plays the penultimate match of his Hampshire stint today.
His farewell appearance will be the Natwest T20 Blast quarter-final against Nottinghamshire at Trent Bridge on Sunday, as it was in 2012, when Kyle Abbott will be available again after missing the last three group games during South Africa’s two-Test tour of Sri Lanka, where he did not play.
Play begins at 10.30am at Bristol, where Hampshire are yet to win a 50-over match in four attempts.
Hampshire (from): Vince, Carberry, Maxwell, Adams, Smith, Ervine, Dawson, Wheater, Coles, Wood, Briggs, Tomlinson.
