TRAVIS Penny scored a hat-trick as the Basingstoke under-13 Bison went joint top of South One after they won 5-1 at Peterborough.
The home side scored the only goal of the first period, but this was the only time Thomas Vistuer was to be beaten.
A pair of goals from Penny assisted by Cain Russell and Harrison Wynn gave the Herd the lead, before Russell made it 3-1 by the second break.
The final session saw Penny complete his hat-trick as Wynn picked up his third assist and the scoring was completed by Charlie Wedge assisted by Oliver Hemming-Maher.
