BASINGSTOKE Bison boss Doug Sheppard is looking for his side to bounce back to winning ways and continue their awesome home ice form on Saturday.
The Herd suffered a 3-2 at lowly Hull last Sunday, when Sheppard felt his side only played for the first 40 minutes and once again penalties cost them dear.
The previous night was a different story as the Bison stung visiting Bracknell Bees big time with a 10-2 win.
This was their 10th straight home victory and also booked their place in the semi-finals of the English Premier League Cup.
This week, the Herd have just one home game against title rivals the Milton Keynes Lightning, who are currently third in the table, whilst the Bison are second.
These sides last met in MK, the Herd lost 8-2 and on Saturday (6.30pm), the Bison will be out to avenge this big loss.
Looking ahead to the game, in which the Bison will still be without defenceman Alex Symonds, Sheppard said: “We only have one game this weekend, so there is no excuse not to play a full 60 minutes.”
