ELIZABETH Winstanley scored twice as the Basingstoke Bison Ladies won their first game of the season thanks to a 4-1 victory over the visiting Solent Amazons.
Winstanley opened the scoring at 11:32 assisted by Hannah Driver, which was the only goal of the first period.
Jodie Attrill then made it 2-0, before Solent pulled a goal back, but just 27 seconds later, Winstanley struck again converting Peri Edmiston's pass to make it 3-1 at the second break.
Edmiston with the only goal of the final period completed the scoring.
Their next game is away to the Peterborough Penguins on November 22.
