Basingstoke athletes compete at English Schools championships
THREE Basingstoke and Mid Hants athletes took part in the English Schools Combined Events Championship in Birmingham.
Devon Brimecome finished 14th in the under-17 heptathlon with a personal best score of 4, 043, while Gemma Finch was 18th with 3,916 points.
Tobin Hatton-Brown was 11th in the under-17 octathlon, collecting 4,605 points, and in the under-20 decathlon Isaac Cox was eighth with 5,773, which was a personal best.
